Members of IFIA offer accredited testing, inspection and certification services where accreditation is available and appropriate. IFIA’s Accreditation Committee provides the forum where members develop their input to accreditation standards and systems and through which they manage IFIA’s collective dialogue with the accreditation bodies where these work together in such organisations as the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC).
