Standards

IFIA Guidelines

The Guidelines define the service standard which members are expected to apply. The Guidelines cover general duties of inspection together with more detailed requirements for inspection for various commodities.

The Compliance Code defines the standards of conduct and integrity with which IFIA members must comply.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

PSI Code of Practice

This Code of Practice stipulates the obligations of IFIA PSI Members in carrying out inspection activities contracted or mandated by a user government. The Code is based on World Trade Organisation Agreements

This list shows countries and programmes operated by IFIA Members and subject to World Trade Organisation Agreements

PSI Certification Programme Rules

These rules must be implemented by IFIA PSI Members and ensure conformity with the above PSI Code of Practice

Petroleum Inspector Certification

Requirements and Guidelines Revised March 2009

This document provides full details of the Certification Programme which is operated in conjunction with the Energy Institute in London.

Test Questions Revised March 2009 (Questions not changed)

This book lists the full set of Test Questions from which the examination question sets are chosen. Answers are provided.

Test Questions - French Language Issued June 2009

As above but with the Test Questions in French. Fully compatible with the International (English) set revised in March 2009.

Training Requirements List
