IFIA has an active Legal Committee (members’ list below) that keeps legal developments affecting the profession under review on behalf of the Members. It conducts Legal Seminars for members as the need arises, and provides advice on IFIA publications, including IFIA’s own formal Regulations (Conditions of membership etc) and IFIA’s Guidelines. It has published model Terms and Conditions of Business which IFIA Members are under no obligation to use, but which help to provide a clear definition of the service provided by Members, thus strengthening the identity of the profession.
